Maya membership privacy notice
These terms cover the paid Maya membership. The existing free website remains governed by its current public terms and privacy notice.
What is sent when you use Maya
Your question and recent conversation are sent through Operation ADH servers to OpenAI to generate an answer. Relevant case context and retrieved literature may accompany them. Dictation sends the recorded audio to OpenAI for transcription when you finish recording. Spoken answers send answer text to OpenAI to generate Maya’s AI voice. A pseudonymous account identifier may accompany voice requests for provider safety checks. Microphone access is optional; review dictated text before sending it as a question.
Research and linked content
Research searches send search terms that can contain words from your submitted question and recent messages to literature services including PubMed/NCBI, Europe PMC and ClinicalTrials.gov. Do not include identifiers in a question: removing identifiers cannot be guaranteed. Clicking a study or video opens a third-party service, such as a publisher or YouTube, whose privacy practices apply.
Accounts and payments
Supabase stores your verified account identity, session generation, membership/consent records and usage ledger. Stripe processes payment information and stores the billing records needed for subscriptions, refunds and disputes. Operation ADH receives payment status and references, not your full card details. Vercel hosts the application and processes operational/security request information. Email delivery uses the configured authentication email service.
Conversation and audio handling
The current chat is temporary and clears on reload; it is not a saved clinical record. The browser retains recent turns while the page is open. Signed narration tickets contain answer text and expire after one hour; generated audio may be cached in memory during playback. Do not equate a cleared chat with deletion of provider or operational records. Account, consent, payment and usage records remain as needed to run the service, resolve billing issues and meet applicable retention requirements.
OpenAI handling
OpenAI states that API data is not used for model training by default, unless the customer opts in. Its API retention rules can include abuse-monitoring logs and endpoint-specific application state. Operation ADH does not promise zero data retention or a HIPAA-covered clinical workflow. See OpenAI’s current API data controls for the applicable provider policy.
Your choices
You can use text without microphone permission, cancel your membership, and contact info@doctormikehansen.com to request account access or deletion assistance. Deletion requests may not remove records that must be retained for billing, disputes or legal requirements. Do not send patient records or identifiers to support.
